2011 Certification Update
The Certification Examination for School Nurses will be
administered two times in 2011 – in March and July.
Of the 419 examinations which were administered in 2011, 279 (66%) of the candidates
passed the examination.
449 NCSNs with expiration dates in 2011 successfully recertified.
As of
December 29, 2011 there were 3,397 NCSNs.
2010 Certification Update
The Certification Examination for School Nurses will be
administered two times in 2010 – in March and and July.
Of the 406 examinations which were administered in 2010, 269 (66%) of the candidates
passed the examination.
422 NCSNs with expiration dates in 2010 successfully recertified.
As of
December 22, 2010 there were 3,318 NCSNs.
2009 Certification Update
The Certification Examination for School Nurses will be
administered two times in 2009 – in March and and July.
Of the 576 examinations which were administered, 429 (74%) of the candidates
passed the examination.
377 NCSNs with expiration dates in 2009 successfully
recertified.
As of
September 29, 2009
there were 3,284 NCSNs.
2008 Certification Update
The Certification Examination for School Nurses was
administered two times in 2008 – in February and and July.
Of the 566 examinations which were administered, 403 (71.2%) of the candidates
passed the examination.
During 2008, 216 NCSNs successfully
recertified.
254 NCSNs with expiration dates in 2008 successfully
recertified.
As of
September 9, 2008
there were 2,961 NCSNs.
2007 Certification Update
The Certification Examination for School Nurses was
administered three times in 2007 – in January, June, and July.
Of the 476 examinations which were administered, 265 (55.7%) of the candidates
passed the examination.
261 NCSNs with expiration dates in 2007 successfully
recertified.
As of
August 1, 2007
there were 2,631 NCSNs.
2006 Certification Update
The Certification Examination for School Nurses was
administered six times in 2006 – in February, April, June, July, August, and
November.
Of the 539 examinations which were administered, 314 (58.3%) of the candidates
passed the examination.
348 NCSNs with expiration dates in 2006 successfully recertified.
